Tips For A Less Spicy Buldak Ramen Carbonara

To make the Italian Style Buldak Ramen Carbonara less spicy, you can try the following methods:

  1. Reduce the spicy sauce: Use only half or even a quarter of the spicy sauce packet that comes with the noodles. This allows you to control the heat level while still maintaining some of the intended flavor.
  2. Add dairy products: Incorporate milk, cream, or cheese into the dish. The fats in dairy help neutralize the capsaicin that causes the spicy sensation. Try adding:
    • 2-3 tablespoons of heavy cream or milk
    • Extra cheese (mozzarella, parmesan, or a slice of processed cheese)
  3. Balance with sweetness: A small amount of sugar or honey can help counteract the spiciness. Add about 1/2 teaspoon of sugar or honey and adjust to taste.
  4. Increase the noodle-to-sauce ratio: Cook additional plain noodles and mix them with the seasoned ones to dilute the overall spiciness.
